Onuma finds inspiration via daily life experiences (anime, hip hop, fashion) and symbols of capitalism (iphone, sneakers) and incorporates them into his own creations. By extracting symbols from the tangible world he transfers them onto his intangible world.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eAfter an incident that happened to his family, Hiroaki experienced a radical change in his works. A typical example is his latest collection of abstract paintings included in this exhibition KARESANSUI, MY DRY GARDEN. It is a play with color, the brush, the spray, the surface of the canvas.
