A Sheep Portrait 4

Building on the spirit of the 2024 exhibition “Pretty as a Sheep,” presented by Asian Art Bridge at the Palais Royal in Paris, Duong Thuy Duong continues to “play” with the image of sheep on paper. In this new portrait series, the artist moves in closer, exploring the portrait of the sheep with greater intimacy so that every expression becomes strikingly vivid. Her brushwork—honed over more than 20 years—flows with freedom and instinct, giving life to an image that feels both innocent and deeply emotive.
