Opened in 1999, the Fukuoka Asian Art Museum (FAAM) is the world’s only museum exclusively dedicated to collecting and exhibiting modern and contemporary art from Asian countries and regions. Situated in Fukuoka - a historic hub of cultural exchange between Japan and the rest of Asia - FAAM serves as an active interaction platform, fostering artistic exchange, residencies, and public research.
