About
Established in 2004 by the Samsung Foundation of Culture, the Leeum Museum of Art is one of South Korea's premier art institutions. Composed of three architecturally distinct buildings designed by world-renowned architects Mario Botta, Jean Nouvel, and Rem Koolhaas, the museum bridges past and present by housing both designated national treasures of traditional Korean art and major works of modern and international contemporary art.
