Established in 1988, the Seoul Museum of Art (SeMA) is a premier municipal art museum network operated by the Seoul Metropolitan Government. Its main Seosomun building, housed behind the preserved facade of the historic 1928 Supreme Court building near Deoksugung Palace, serves as a dynamic civic cultural platform dedicated to user-oriented exhibitions, research, and contemporary visual culture.
