About the Artwork:

"I am Alone" is a unique sculptural copper work created in 2022 using "Etchingraphy," an original process developed by Ali Arkady alongside traditional etching methods. Reimagining the technique of image transfer and direct acid interaction on copper, the piece contains no ink or artificial pigments. The visual work is etched and fused permanently into the metal’s surface through controlled chemical reaction, revealing the raw, authentic tones and natural patina of the material.

The piece is coated with a high-grade anti-oxidation protective finish to ensure archival stability and longevity. Designed to offer adaptable installation options, the folded copper structure can be exhibited as a free-standing three-dimensional sculpture on a table/plinth or mounted directly on a wall. It serves as a profound contemplation on isolation, resilience, and personal memory.
