This series presents dialogues between order – squares revealing to an underlying layer – and the spontaneous: script-like markings that variously counterpoint structure with improvisation. It iconises a fragment of thinking in motion: textured squares in precise grid-like arrangements work with asemic letter forms in apparent disorder.  The dynamics of order and spontaneity suggest thoughts gathering, breaking apart, and finding connections.
