This piece is inspired by "The Artificial Abyss" by Hoai Phuong, a Vietnamese artist whose work is currently showcased alongside ioi Choi's in the ongoing exhibition "Polar Voids."
During the performance, ioi Choi invites Trinh to collaborate, guiding Trinh's hand to create a unique imprint on the canvas using ink.
The earthy tones of the painting evoke a landscape's essence, encouraging viewers to let their imaginations roam freely and interpret the canvas as they wish.
The exhibition, featuring "Polar Void," will be open to the public until April 10th 2024.
