Duong Thuy Duong
Duong Thuy Duong's two decades of painting practice are two decades of work about doubts around the notion of identity. In other words, the main theme of her work is skepticism.
Although hidden under many layers, from surrealist fiction to religious metaphysic, from evolutionary theory to political news, even in landscape depiction, Duong Thuy Duong's visual objects all feel like they are questions about our beliefs in metaphysical narratives such as Creation, Evolution, Love, Life and Death.
She is currently based in Berlin.
