Imrana Tanveer

Imrana Tanveer is a London based Multi-disciplinary Visual Artist.

Tanveer holds degrees from the Textile Institute of Pakistan and National College of Arts. She expresses the interweaving tensions between the Contemporary Global issues and climatic concerns through her personalized utopic resolves. Whereas the propagation of iconic images stares back at the viewer for visually delighted manifesto.

She has exhibited at Christie’s Hong Kong, Scope Miami Art Fair USA, 1st Karachi Biennale, Bienvenue Art Fair Paris, and Human Capital Summit World Bank Pakistan among few. She has been awarded the gallery exhibition prize of Sovereign Asian Art Prize ’17 with auction at the Christie’s Hong Kong. She is also the winner of IEAA 2016 awards exhibition in Brussels, Belgium. She has featured in Golden 15 award category of IEAA hosted by Sabrina Armani Gallery, Dubai in May 2014. Islamic Art Magazine featured Tanveer in the Top 10 solo and retrospective exhibitions of 2013.

Her work is part of renowned collections of British High Commission office Pakistan, Amin Gulgee Gallery, Ierimonti Gallery USA, and AAN Hong Kong collection to name few. She lives and works in London in all her glorious avatars of being a Women Artist.
